After over 24 successful years in the thermoplastic welding equipment industry with involvement in sales, training, design, and many other facets, “Demo Dave”. McLaury wanted to make some major changes. The only way to make this happen was to start his own company.
Taking advantage of the new, faster, lighter technology available, “Demo Dave” formed Demtech Services, Inc. in April 1999, and within 8 months, launched the Pro-Wedge hot wedge welder. It has become the welder of choice for many installers worldwide, with thousands of units shipped to date.
Demtech Services, Inc. continues to utilize the latest innovative designs, engineering, and technology to update and improve the Pro-Wedge VM-20. We have added Pro-Data (data acquisition software) and hundreds of different kit configurations to accommodate welding various material types and thicknesses. Additionally,
we offer 2 other wedge welder modes, 4 extrusion welder models, many different types of testing equipment, specialized tools, and deployment systems to support safe and efficient installations.
Since 1999, Demtech Services, Inc. expanded its production facilities to over 10,000 square feet, including our own on-site machine shop. We use state-of-the-art CNC lathes and milling machines to produce the highest quality parts for our entire product range. Additionally, we assembled the most experienced team of technicians and employees in the industry. Our repair department is stocked with an extensive inventory of parts and accessories to support all service and repair needs. Our production department keeps the shelves stocked with new equipment so orders can ship immediately.
Since 2011, Demtech Services, Inc. has been hitting the road with our “Demtech On the Move” teams.
